Either Steve or one of our designers will call or email you within one business day to schedule the consultation.
You choose. Most Lake Forest, Libertyville, Lake Bluff, and Grayslake clients prefer the in-home consultation so we can measure the actual space. Conway Farms and Westleigh clients sometimes prefer the showroom for the cabinet and tile displays. Either way, the consultation is free and there is no obligation.
After the consultation, your designer develops a custom 3D rendering of the finished project at no charge and an itemized menu-style estimate. You see exactly where every dollar goes before you decide whether to move forward.
If you choose to proceed, we sign the contract, order materials, pull permits, and coordinate the start date. If you decide not to move forward, you keep what you learned from the process and there is no charge.

Our showroom sits on Route 45 in Third Lake, less than five miles north of downtown Grayslake's Center Street and about twenty minutes north of Libertyville. The showroom features cabinet displays from Wellborn Forest, Kith, JSI, US Cabinets, and Woodland. Countertop samples from Cambria, MSI, LG, Vicostone, and natural stone. Tile boards across porcelain, ceramic, and stone. Plumbing fixture displays from Kohler, Moen, Delta, and Grohe. Bertch bath vanity displays. Hardware, lighting, and finish samples across the major design directions we work in.

Century responds to all consultation requests within one business day. Most inquiries submitted between 9am and 4pm receive a same-day response. Inquiries submitted in the evening or on weekends are answered first thing the next business day. You will hear from either Steve Donato directly or one of our designers.
Yes. The initial consultation is free with no obligation to move forward. The free consultation includes a designer visit either at our Third Lake showroom or at your home, a discussion of your project goals and budget, an initial measurement and assessment, and a walkthrough of which materials and design directions might fit your project.
Both options are available. Most Lake Forest, Libertyville, Lake Bluff, and Grayslake clients prefer the initial consultation at their home so we can measure the actual space. Some clients prefer to start at the showroom for the cabinet, countertop, tile, and fixture displays. Either way is free.
Before the consultation, gather any inspiration images or design ideas you have, rough dimensions of the space if you have them, a sense of your budget range, and your ideal timeline. None of this is required, but it makes the conversation more productive. We will handle the precise measurements during or after the consultation.
The initial consultation typically runs 45 to 90 minutes depending on the scope of the project. Kitchen and primary bathroom consultations tend toward the longer end. Powder room or single-room projects tend toward the shorter end. Whole-home and addition consultations sometimes require a second visit to capture the full scope.

We occasionally work in northern Cook County, but our primary service area is Lake County, Illinois. If you are unsure whether your address falls within our service area, call (847) 395-3418 and we will tell you within thirty seconds.
Our showroom is open Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm. We are closed Saturday and Sunday. Walk-ins are welcome during business hours, but scheduling ahead means a designer will be available to walk you through the displays and answer questions.
No. The consultation is free regardless of whether you decide to move forward with Century. You keep what you learn from the process even if you choose another remodeler or decide to delay the project.

The 3D rendering and estimate typically take one to three weeks to develop after the consultation, depending on the scope of the project.
